Krones offers a variety of Modul labeler base sizes to accommodate a packager’s production requirements. The base size of the machine is a determined by speed requirements. The Modul machine base sizes are founded on the Krones cold-glue labeler models – Unimodul, Prontomodul, Starmodul, Solomodul, Topmodul and Multimodul, and range in size from 600 to 2400 mm.
Krones Checkmat label inspection systems may be integrated with any Krones labeler. The Checkmat Label Inspection Unit uses smart cameras or sensors to verify the labels on containers. Labels are identified through comprehensive comparison with a sample, and checked for position, alignment, and quality.
