Sepha Ltd: Non-destructive leak tester for pharma blister packs

Using the latest high-resolution imaging technology, the Sepha VisionScan is a tool-less, non-destructive seal and leak detection device that tests blister packs containing a variety of tablets and capsules in multiple material and design formats.

VisionScan provides a flexible, reliable, objective, and cost saving alternative to destructive blister pack test methods such as blue dye.  It detects defects in individual blister pockets, channel leaks, and weak seals down to 15 microns.

The flexible, mobile table top device is designed for production lines running multiple products, VisionScan can test multiple packs per test cycle--60 seconds per test.
 

The operating system stores up to 30,000 product types, and is capable of storing and exporting data for audit and quality control purposes.  Can form part of 21CFR part 11 compliant system.

Simple operation is provided through a touch screen interface.  The system also provides improved environmental impact by generating less waste and improving product yield.
