BluePrint Automation: Robotic buffer system

Ryson has designed a robotic buffer system consisting of two conveyors that run side-by-side and parallel to the spiral in/outfeed conveyor.

One conveyor handles products from the filler, and the other conveys empty cases. A Delta Blueprint Automation pick-and-place robot located in front of the spiral loads products into the empty cartons or feeds the spiral when needed. Spiral conveyor provides vertical accumulation and buffers any imbalances in the flow of products or supply of cartons.

Tide’s polypropylene caps undergo LaserSharp marking on two sides. On the left, we see an inverted bottle where Tide’s blue detergent is completely filling the dosing cap. Fill-level guidelines are visible both when detergent is in the cap as pictured, and when the cap is empty. On the upper right, we see the OXI logo on the other side of the cap.
