Ircon, Inc: Thermal seal checking system

Ircon introduces its new Maxline 2 thermal seal checking system that inspects thermal seal quality within production processes. Machine applies infrared thermal imaging technologies, instantly inspecting seals and generating control outputs with no negative effect to production time or speed.

Using a patent-pending image de-blurring feature, the system can inspect continuous-motion items at a rate up to 700 containers/min. For indexing applications without the de-blurring feature, the system can perform up to 300 inspections/min. Machine inspects for heat-seal defects, cold-seal defects, and seal voids and creases.
