Designed by Sonoco Products (Hartsville, SC) as an alternative to stand-up flexible pouches and bag-in-box packaging, the Can-O-Bag is a lightweight container constructed of a spiral-wound body ply with a spiral or convolute label.

A tapered, tube-like shape is created by eliminating one end of a round composite container and sealing the other end flat. It can be opened via a corner or full tear, or by means of a peelable membrane. For use with a wide range of products, including snack foods and powders.
