Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and key leaders from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) visited FORDS Packaging Systems Ltd today as part of a trade mission to the United Kingdom.

Governor Walker, WEDC Secretary and CEO Reed Hall as well as other key leaders from the Corporation visited Fords manufacturing facility in Bedford. They were also joined by Richard Fuller, Member of Parliament for Bedford, Dave Hodgson, Mayor of Bedford Borough and Mark Oakley, Head of Economic Development at Bedford Borough Council. Laura Whincup, CEO of Fords, said: “I am pleased that Governor Walker has chosen to visit Fords Packaging during this exciting time of growth. Fords has supported the world’s food and beverage market for more than 90 years and we export 90% of our products throughout the world, with the USA representing our single largest market. I am delighted to welcome the Governor and look forward to future collaborations which will strengthen our position in the USA.”
