Spee-Dee forms alliance with international distributor Selo UK

James P. Navin, President of Spee-Dee® Packaging Machinery, Inc., has announced that an agreement has been formed with Selo UK Ltd. to distribute and service Spee-Dee equipment throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“This partnership enables Spee-Dee to achieve the objective of expanding our customer base into Europe efficiently, cost-effectively and within a condensed timeframe,” he stated.

Timm Johnson, Vice President, Sales/Marketing, explained that the European market has always presented significant opportunities for growth.  However, as a company strongly committed to providing timely and professional service, Spee-Dee was challenged to locate a local resource that could provide the same level of exemplary support.

“The experienced Selo UK engineering team will receive extensive training in the operation, maintenance and repair of the entire Spee-Dee product line, enabling them to knowledgeably resolve application questions via telephone or through a service call,” Johnson stressed.  “Selo guarantees on-site service within 24 hours of request and the company is committed to maintaining an extensive inventory of spare parts.  This ensures customers will experience maximum system uptime when addressing existing or new production requirements,” he concluded.
