Mike White, Ossid VP and GM, dies in accident

Mike White, Ossid Vice President and General Manager, died Monday, April 21 as a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was 49.

Mr. White, a 20-year management and engineering veteran, joined Ossid in 2004 and served as its Vice President and General Manager since February last year. He previously served as Ossid’s Operations Manager and was instrumental in integrating its MH product line acquired in 2006. “Mike was a great person and leader for our company,” said Bud Lane, President of Pro Mach’s Primary Packaging Business Unit. “He will be sorely missed as a friend and mentor to many people throughout our company and the packaging industry. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family during this difficult time.”
