Palletizer infeed for orienting cases

With quick identification in mind, Columbia Machine (Vancouver, WA) developed The Turnado palletizer infeed. Its unique design allows cases to be oriented in such a way that labels face outward on all sides of a palletized load.

Its new, continuous-motion design has fewer moving parts and operates at faster case speeds than currently available on turning devices, says the company. Pneumatic/electric infeed handles a range of case sizes at speeds over 35/min in a 10 case/layer pattern. It can be installed in either a side- or rear-infeed configuration. Retrofitting to existing palletizers is possible.
