Autogard torque limiters act as a mechanical circuit breaker to protect a drivetrain, disengaging the driving and driven sides in the event that a jam or overload creates a torque spike that exceeds its preset torque value. The next generation Autogard F400 Series from Regal Rexnord features the best bore size range available, making it compatible with larger drive shafts and allowing customers to select a smaller coupling size based on torque setting. Superior dirt ingress protection is now available as standard, offering minimal, “fit-and-forget” maintenance. In addition, the new design has excellent temperature resistance, enabling customers to use one model for all applications with temperatures ranging from -22°F to 176°F (-30°C to 80°C).
