The platform also provides communication, motion, and database and manipultion capabilities, in multiple programming environments. This easy-to-use programming software eliminates the need for multiple software packages used with different PLC platforms. The Modicon M340 PAC requires no batteries--flash memory backup eliminates program loss and maintenance costs during power failure. Its compact size (4”H x 3.7”D) fits 6" enclosures, reducing panel size and costs. Other features include high density 64 point I/O, 4MB memory, CANopen™, Ethernet and Modbus® industry-standard network connectivity, predeterminated cables with flying leads or Advantys™ Telefast® connections to reduce wiring time.
