Module’s sensor circuit monitors the contact plates of the safety mat, and consists of bi-polar redundant channels that issue the stop command when the 2 channels are shorted together as an individual steps onto the safety mat. Module monitors the contacts and wiring of one or more safety mats preventing machine restarts in the event of a mat or module failure.
