Renco Encoders Inc: Commutating encoder

Renco Encoders announces the new sub-miniature commutating encoder, Model R22i, which achieves both brushless motor commutation and incremental position in a small package size of 0.866” in dia by 0.59” long without mounting tabs.

The R22i smaller package size assembles to brushless PM motors as small as 0.866” (22 mm) in motor outside diameter. A three-phase (U, V, W) commutation pattern is available for 4-, 6-. 8-and 10- pole brushless motors. Incremental encoder resolution of 250, 256, 500, 512, 1000, and 1024 line counts are available in A, B, and Z (reference channels).
