Primera Technology: Desktop color label printer saves time, money, environment

Designed for labeling specialty foods, wine, medical and nutritional products, water bottles, hardware, and much more, Primera's CX1000 Color Label Printer is a desktop, full-color label printer designed for printing from 100 to 5,000 labels at a time at 2400 dpi.

Import label files into the included PTPrint™ Software, specify how many labels are needed, and press go. Design changes can be accomplished immediately so there is no wasted inventory.

The CX1000 provides 2400 dpi print quality.  Dot patterns are virtually imperceptible.  Pantone-approved spot color support is included.  Print speed is 16.25 ft./min. (5 meters /min.).  Prints up to 500 ft. (152.4 meters) at a time. Once a job is started, it can be left unattended. A built-in cutter automatically cuts the web once the job is completed and a sensor turns off the printer and rewinder. Labels are ready to be applied manually, semi-automatically or by an automated applicator.  Because CX1000 uses pre die-cut labels, no secondary die-cutting or finishing equipment is necessary

The CX1000 prints on many different laser-qualified label materials, from pressure-sensitive plain papers to white and clear polyesters, and more. A wide range of approved matte, semi-gloss, high-gloss and specialty food and beverage label materials are available. An all-new range of eco-friendly materials that are 100% recyclable is available.  Printed labels are waterproof, as well as highly scratch-, smudge- and tear-resistant.  Dozens of popular pre-die cut sizes are in-stock and ready for immediate shipment. Custom sizes are also available.

Primera's micro-fine dry toner-based inks provide substrate flexibility, robustness, and low running costs. Toner cartridges are easily replaced from the front of the unit. An integrated memory chip helps to prevent running out of ink in the middle of a job. Cartridge recycling is provided at no charge, throughout the world, for the life of the press. All products are compliant with RoHS and WEEE standards.
