Marbach: In-mold labeling (IML) system

Marbach’s versatile variaSPEED in-mold labeling (IML) automation for injection molded thin-wall packaging runs multiple products on one IML system.

Pw 2551 Webmarbach
The highly-flexible variaSPEED automation system can run 1- to 8-cavity production cycles with a changeover time of less than 30 min. Modular construction and compact design results in a small footprint. Features a strong, self-supporting standard frame.  A water-cooled and temperature-controlled primary linear guidance rail provides position tolerance of +- 0.1 mm for exact product labeling. Product conveying is possible in either direction inline with the injection molding machine.  Label magazines can be filled during production without stopping the machine. The servo-driven linear system reduces cycle times and permits short intrusion time for label insertion/product removal.
