Pack Expo 2004: RoboBar robotic bartender
WEB EXCLUSIVE: Motoman is introducing its RoboBar robotic bartender to acclaim of happy customers at its booth, S-1495, at Pack Expo International 2004. Machine, built with traditional packaging-related robotic components, is programmed to mix and pour alcoholic drinks to specification. Dual-armed, high-speed robot is equipped with a color LCD display screen, a touch screen programmed to accept the customers order, a magnetic card reader (optional), stainless-steel bar with safety enclosure, a cup dispenser, beer tap tower, ice maker, and a soda and juice dispensing tower. Pack Expo 2004: IMFS 1500 intermittent motion filler/sealer
PACK EXPO WEB EXCLUSIVE: Robert's Packaging is showing its IMFS 1500 intermittent motion fill/seal packager at its booth, S-444, at Pack Expo International 2004. Stand-up pouch system automatically fills and seals premade standup/zipper style bags. Machine accommodates a minimum pouch size of 4"" W x 6"" H x 1"" gusset through a maximum pouch size of 12"" W x 15"" H with a maximum gusset of 5"". A complete size changeover can be performed in approximately 15 min. Benefits include a compact footprint, increased flexibility, and an economical price. Machine is built on the same construction criteria as Robert's C-Series continuous motion systems.

PACK EXPO WEB EXCLUSIVE: Cousins introduced its 2100 Series A Arm stretchwrapper at Pack Expo International 2004. Low-cost automatic stretchwrapper prototype is simple and requires little maintenance. Wrapper requires no grippers, rather the films starts at the top of the package and stays put as the wrapper wraps from the top down. Available January 2005, machine will retail for $9꾾.

Pack Expo 2004: V5100 vf/f/s baling system
PACK EXPO WEB EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Products showed its V5100 vf/f/s baling system at its booth at Pack Expo International 2004 this week in Chicago. Machine packages finished bags of product into film wrapped bales, eliminating the need for paperboard boxes and premade bags. Machine can run one, two, and three columns of packaged product with a maximum bale weight of 60 lb. Machine is designed to be integrated with other vf/f/s equipment to complete the packaging process.
