Charter NEX Films expands extrusion capabilities

The manufacturer adds new extrusion lines in two Wisconsin facilities.

Charter NEX Films announces the expansion of their extrusion capabilities at two of their Wisconsin plants. The company has added another new three-layer Windmoeller & Hoelscher (W&H) line in the Milton, WI, plant. In addition, Charter NEX recently started up a new 7-layer Brampton barrier film line in the Rhinelander, WI, plant.

β€œThese new additions are part of our strategy to continually invest in the latest technology to support our customers’ growing demands for performance and quality,” says Kathy Bolhous, Chief Executive Officer. β€œThis guarantees that we remain our customers’ most reliable film partner as we meet their needs today and into the future. We have several more lines on order for installation in 2016.”

Dave Timm, Chief Operating Officer, comments: β€œAdding additional assets to our plants demonstrates our commitment to our customers and our employees. These state of the art lines provide additional capabilities for market expansion, while maintaining our exclusive focus on blown film extrusion.”
