F/f/s machine

Hassia (Morganville, NJ) has developed the SAS 20/30 for aseptic operation to form, fill, and seal pouches made of flexible materials. Machine is primarily intended for use in the convenience food and dairy product market, and it’s said to be the first multilane machine to package low-acid food products aseptically.

It produces StickPack pouches that are formed, filled, and sealed under overpressure generated by sterile air. The equipment is designed for a performance of 8 StickPacks/cycle and packages approximately 20ꯠ units/hour.
