Technology isolates each of the load-carrying re-circulating elements in the co.’s LM guides in an individual cage or pocket. This cage prevents ball-to-ball or roller-to-roller contact and the associated friction, while also acting as a reservoir for lubricants, eliminating the need for an external lubricating system. Systems also offer higher speed capabilities, and, with 1¼10th the torque deviation of standard LM guides, greatly improved positioning accuracy. Specific benefits include increased speed and accuracy of motion, decreased noise levels, long-term, maintenance-free operation, and reduced sources of contamination.
