The introduction of the new 33 mm ACL closure expands Silgan Closures’ range of neck sizes available for aseptic use. It joins the company’s existing closures approved for commercial use in aseptic packaging following rigorous testing by Sidel, the leading test site for aseptic packaging. All are molded of HDPE, are linerless, and incorporate TE J-bands. By providing lubrication-free application, the 33 mm ACL expands Silgan’s closure offerings to aseptic packagers.
