Portola Tech International: Heat transfer graphics

Portola Tech recently began offering thermally applied graphics (heat transfers) as an alternative decorating option to screen printing or hot stamping.

The pre-printed images are transferred to a jar or closure with heat and pressure and allow as many as 14 different colors or graphics created with a 4-color press. Achievable decoration effects include matte, shiny, white, various colors, semi-transparent, or opaque colors.
