System features 5 protruding extensions designed to hold the liner in place so it doesn’t bow, bend, creep, curl, or blow out of the lid during shipping or warehousing. These tabs minimize the disruption of the eddy currents during induction sealing. Lockliner extensions protrude 1/3 of the distance of tri-tab extensions and are twice as wide, thereby covering a larger area of the round perimeter. Currently available for 110-mm closures and soon to be available for sizes as small as 63 mm, Lockliners are available in paperboard-backed foil liners and synthetic-backed liners. Suitable for liquid or dry products that are hot- or ambient-filled in plastic or glass containers.
