Advanced Materials: Cosmetics compounds

GE Advanced Materials has launched a material solution for the cosmetics packaging industry that is said to provide unprecedented flow and design freedom, as well as extensive visual effects.

Combining Xylex™ resin and Visualfx® resin technologies, the solution offers chemical resistance, transparency, clarity, high-impact strength, and high-temperature resistance. LNP’s Thermocorp® HSG compound provides designers with a heavier, “high-quality” feel. The compounds are injection-moldable, colorable, palatable, and lead-free. Available with a variety of base resins.
