Jet-melt™ adhesives from 3M (St. Paul, MN) are solid thermoplastic resins. When heated, they become fluid and quickly wet the bonding surface.

Upon cooling, they reach bond strength in seconds. The family of Jet-melt adhesives includes: Jet-Melt 3738, a long bonding range adhesive; 3762, a high “hot-tack” adhesive for immediate strength; 3762LM, a low-temperature formulation for heat-sensitive substrates; and 3764, an adhesive that provides good impact resistance at low temperatures.
