A two-layer lid for single-serve food, dairy or cosmetics products is available from Label Makers (Pleasant Prairie, WI). The bottom layer is designed to be heat-sealed to the container, which can be constructed of PS or PP.

Die-cut holes allow users to shake contents out. The top layer, applied as a p-s label to the bottom layer, provides tamper evidence yet is easily peeled to gain access to the product. Both layers of the lid can be made of paper, foil, film, or a paper/foil combination, and can be flexographically printed.
