Nalbach Engineering Co.: Plastic bottle unscrambler

In Nalbach’s new range of plastic bottle unscramblers, the NECOSORT-S3, the “S3” name represents the three key attributes offered by this new unscrambler system; higher Speeds, less floor Space, and cost Savings.

The percent of bottles discharged for every revolution of the unscrambler’s sorting drum is high, increases speed and provides higher efficiency. Where an unscrambler with a 130-in. sorting drum was capable of running a 12-oz. salad dressing bottle for an application with a speed requirement of 265 bpm, the NECOSORT-S3 with a 130-in sorting drum can run the same bottle at speeds up to 330 bpm.  The unscrambler requires less floor space.  The increase in speed capabilities allow for a smaller machine model to meet a given speed requirement.  The same application with a speed requirement of 265 bpm for a 12-oz. salad dressing bottle would require a 130-in. sorting drum, but with the NECOSORT-S3 the same application can use a 105-in. sorting drum. It also provides cost savings:  increased speed capabilities allow for a smaller machine model to meet a given speed requirement.

The NECOSORT-S3 is capable of sorting a wide range of bottle types and sizes.  Designed with only three moving parts, no reciprocating motions, complicated mechanisms, or hard to adjust container handling parts, it virtually eliminates downtime, provides low maintenance, high reliability and carries a three (3) year warranty.
