Exopack has formed a corporate research and development team, to be headquartered at its Menasha, WI, manufacturing facility. Tom Lee, director of research and development, was appointed team leader.

Harpak, Inc. completed its merger with ULMA Packaging. The company’s new name is Harpak-ULMA Packaging, LLC.

Ryt-way Industries LLC acquired the food & beverage contract packaging and equipment manufacturing businesses of Cloud Holdings LLC, consisting of Cloud Packaging Services, Cloud Equipment Co., and Toll Packaging Services.

Mocon, Inc. moved its corporate headquarters to a new facility in Minneapolis, which will also house larger production and lab functions.

MG America, U.S. subsidiary of MG2, Bologna, Italy, was named exclusive North American distributor of GF S.p.A ampoule/vial filling/inspection machines in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

The Arcil group, with its partner Tecma Pack, opened a subsidiary operation, Synerlink-USA LLC, in Cincinnati, OH.

Bill Toth was appointed general manager of Shuttleworth Europe, N.V.

Richard Denison joined Delkor Systems as director of operations.

Sharon Keeler was promoted to financial controller for Red Lion Controls.

John Klinge was promoted to product manager, metal detection at Eriez.

Kendall Packaging added Dan Brewer as product development manager.

Nick Wilson, Morrison Container Handling Solutions, was named to the advisory council of the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana.

Shawn McTimpeny joined Columbia Machine, Inc., as load transfer station product manager.

Kim Magon was appointed marketing manager for Z Automation Co.

Industrial Dynamics/filtec promoted Jim Wolfe to director of operations, Torrance, CA, facility, and Christian Beck to product sales and marketing director for the Lasetec, Spectrovision, and Vision product lines. And, Matthew Cox was hired as a product engineer.

Dr. Henk Blom was hired as director of technical services for Rollprint Packaging Products, Inc.

Scott Kruger was appointed quality systems manager for Cortegra.
