Live roller merge conveyor

From Nercon comes the Live Roller metering and merging conveyor, which uses the concept of stalling products on the conveyor until they are in the proper sequence.

Pw 6328 X Nercon

An economical solution for metering and merging products without the use of clamps, stops, or sophisticated controls, the conveyor handles many types of packages, including formed shell packages, trays, and f/f/s bags and pouches. Product is introduced onto a primary modular plastic belt, which features rollerless sections called indexing pockets, in which rows are integrated. Downstream, an exciter belt engages the primary belt’s rollers from below. Exciter belt speed is set to drive rollers on the primary belt in a backwards spinning motion, causing products to float on the roller sections briefly until the rollerless chain section emerges, putting the product in forward motion on the indexing pocket. Simple plow rails or powered side rails merge multiple lanes into a single file.
