Supply chain for clear PP bottles

PACK EXPO : At K’2004 in Germany, Sidel showed its new crystal-clear clarified polypropylene (cPP) bottles made on Sidel’s injection stretch blow molding SBO Series 2+ equipment.

Production output for PP bottles is estimated at 1귔 bottles/hour. A unique supply chain arrangement is responsible for the containers, all based on a collaboration agreement established by Sidel and Milliken Chemical, supplier of the clarifying agent. A juice content product called Tampikids, from Chicago-based juice producer Marbo, is filled into the bottles at a Marbo operation in Brazil.
