Integrated motor/drive helps improve VisionPak machine

With convenience-oriented consumers hungry for easier food preparation, the need for pre-packaged meats and deli products has never been greater. This video shows CP Packaging's recently developed VisionPak™, an efficient, easy-to-use horizontal form, fill and seal machine (HFFS). It incorporates  Rexroth’s unique belt driven motion and lift system, which is synchronized by a half-dozen IndraDrive Mi servo/motor and drive units. And because the wash-down-rated IndraDrive Mi are located directly on the machine, control panel space was reduced by 50% to 60%.
