Effytec USA: Horizontal pouch machine

See it at PACK EXPO International, Booth #S-2001! Effytec USA will display its HB 26 horizontal pouch machine featuring a 15 min format changeover. Unit is designed to run flat and stand-up pouches, zipper pouches, corner spout pouches as well as top spout pouches. Production speeds available to 140 ppm in Duplex format and 70 ppm in Simplex format.

It has been designed to increase overall ROI to customer by reducing changeover times, reducing scrap, and increased running efficiency at higher speeds. It can run all manner of dry and wet food, pharma and products, and is a wash down design. The standard machine includes sanitary design stainless steel frame, dual reel unwind with auto film splice, auto film edge alignment, auto positioning sealing system, low inertia cam drive system, cam lubrication, rear cabinet LED illumination, and remote access support. For dairy or extended shelf life refrigerated products, Effytec offers an Ultra Clean specification to include laminar air flow cabinet, high intensity UV lamps and vaporized H2O2 system to achieve up to a Log 5 kill rate.
