Unlike other order fulfillment auto baggers, the Speedpack bagging system is engineered to utilize poly tubing as well as pre-opened bags on a roll. This innovative design can deliver extreme cost savings using tubing, thereby reducing overall bagging and packaging costs. Speedpack has an additional advantage, in that bag length can be changed to "right-size" the package for mail order fulfillment. Maximum bag size on the Speedpack is 16" wide x 24" long, and the Speedpack bagging system is available with a Videojet DataFlex thermal transfer printer. The robust DataFlex printer can interface to all types of software (ERP, rate shopping, etc) to quickly download label data to the printer, critical for mail order fulfillment bagging and packaging. The next-bag-out printer on the Speedpack auto bagger enabled the packer to scan a packing list and print the shipping label on the next bag that will be fed out by the auto bagger. This feature eliminates queuing of the products, simplifying the mail order fulfillment packaging process.
