Zip-Pak has announced that UVA Pkg. is the first to launch vf/f/s technology that applies slider zippers to corner-sealed and block bottom bags. Available worldwide, the Newton 400 is capable of producing more than 6 different types of flexible packages.

Suitable for pet food, powdered products, and frozen food packages ranging from 41¼2 to 151¼5 lb, Newton 400 uses ZIP-PAK® TD SLIDER™ technology with zippers applied across the top, “short” side of a package in the transverse, or cross-web direction. Operators can easily switch between corner-sealed, block bottom, bottom seal, pillow, air deflation, and B-I-B. formats without the use of tools, allowing for minimal downtime.
