Reverse strip-sealing jaws pull film upwards during filling between 1 mm and 100 mm of bag length to allow product to fall into the bag rather than being trapped in a cross-seal area. Pneumatically driven extended back platen may be moved 3/4" away from film during downtime to prevent heat from damaging film.
