Engineered for packaging confectionery and snack products, the Rovema North America BVC 145 TwinTube form/fill/seal machine produces as many as 500 bags, measuring up to 145-mm wide by 220-mm long, per min. Following the infeed of packaging material from a single film roll, the continuous motion unit slits the material into two film webs. Each of the machine’s two sides has separate film drive control, and sealing force can be adjusted individually on each side. Product detection, including defect rejection, works independently on both sides, allowing discharge on one side, while continuing production on the other.
