One side has rows of bins for small items and solid under shelves. The other side boasts 3 sturdy, solid shelves for larger items with a solid shelf base for additional storage. Designed to maneuver easily through narrow spaces, the fifth wheel provides a zero-turn radius that is perfect for moving parts around, eliminating multiple trips.
When this was initially designed, a customer needed a solution developed for multi-use. They were using small boxes and totes to pick product into after attempting to convert a shelving unit into a picking cart. Having all the features the customer wanted and needed all on one cart saved time, money, and additional steps during the picking process. This Pick Bin allows distribution center staff to pick various sizes of products using only one cart. This gives the person picking the order more time to pick instead of constantly repositioning boxes and totes while also ensuring more accurate picking.
