The scanware electronic Spectra Bulk QI bulk inspection system features a modular structure combined with algorithms that make a variety of decisions for the user. Based on a number of images taken during teach-in, many parameters settings are suggested to the user, skipping an extensive teach-in process.
The system works at high speeds, inspecting up to 1 million items per hr. According to Roland Burger, manager of the software development team at scanware, “The system does not only inspect the product once, but multiple times on the lane. Its progress is tracked, so the system can even evaluate jumping products.”
The system also offers multiple ejection modes, enabling producers to optimize productivity.
At PACK EXPO Las Vegas, scanware also will present traditional European blister inspection machines, including a pre-seal, post-seal product inspection system and a print inspection unit.
