Solvent-free overwrap

Rollprint offers Triad, a new high-barrier, solvent-free overwrap that has been developed using the company’s proprietary metallocene-based sealant chemistry.

The sealant layer bonds to foil without the use of solvent or water-based materials. Triad is an extrusion-coated lamination of polyester, aluminum foil, and metallocene, engineered to provide a strong hermetic weld seal in high-speed, chemically sensitive pharmaceutical applications while maintaining a cost-competitive price. Typical applications include blow-fill-seal dose containers for inhalation therapy or diagnostic kits requiring an overwrap to help achieve desired barrier properties. Structure is a suitable alternative to adhesive-, solventless, and water-based laminations for a variety of life science applications.
