Detectors protect downstream equipment from metal in the product stream, reducing machinery downtime and maintenance costs. When metal is detected, a signal is sent to one of the available output relays, activating a ball valve, controlling a visual or audio alarm, stopping the product flow or sending a signal to a PLC. Complete systems can be provided in pipe sizes ranging from 1-4 in. (25-102 mm) diameter.
