Hyde Park Electronics: Corrosion-resistant sensor

The Superprox® Model SM900A-7-STS series proximity sensor from Hyde Park (Dayton, OH) is suitable for applications involving corrosive chemicals and chemical-based materials.

Applications include ammonia hydroxide, carbonated beverages, detergents, inks, tannic acid, tomato juice and vinegar. The 30-mm sensors have stainless-steel housing and stainless-steel-faced transducers. Sensing range is from 120 mm (4.7”) to 1 m (39”).
