The Rechner Leak Detection Sensor with TiltGuard Safety: Not only will the leak sensor give an early warning of a potential hazard, but the integrated self-monitoring ensures the sensor is in the correct mounting position.
The compact housing allows the sensor to fit into drip trays, containers, and pipeline locations. Mount the sensor in position and the sensor will calibrate the sensing field automatically. The housing is designed so liquid can flow beneath the sensor into the sensing field. This housing design keeps the sensor at the right distance for continuous monitoring and makes installation very easy. The new TiltGuard safety output signals if the sensor is out of position and is now on its side. The integrated self-monitoring gives you that extra level of protection. Once the sensor is repositioned, it will recalibrate the sensing field.
The KA1715 sensor is ATEX rated for use in Zone 22, areas with the risk of dust explosion and for use in Zone 2, areas with the risk of gas explosion. The PTFE housing is FDA-rated for use with chemically aggressive media.
