Nalbach Engineering Co.: Ten-head multilane auger filling system

Nalbach’s Model NMAF-M10 ten-head multilane auger filling system dispenses a single product from a common hopper with ten separate and independently controlled augers/funnels and is suitable for multilane filling operations commonly found in the food, pharmaceutical, health & beauty aids, and chemical industries.

The system features ten computer controlled, servo driven motors and an easy-to-use operator touch screen interface.  The computer controlled brushless, direct drive, servo motor system provides fill accuracy and reliability while reducing mechanical failures and downtime by eliminating most moving parts. The user-friendly graphical menu allows the operator to easily access the product memory for fast set-up and accurate control of all filling operations.  The “M10” is a compact system designed for easy integration into most vertical, horizontal, and thermo form-fill-seal machines, as well as many other multiple lane production lines.

The multilane system can be configured to match virtually any multilane application. Variables include the number of dispensing/filling heads as well as center distances to compliment any multilane system.

All Nalbach Auger Filling Systems feature: self-centering funnels resulting in fast changeovers and cleaning times; stainless steel product contact parts and aluminum structural parts for exceptional durability; an empty hopper function for quick product changeovers; “Smart Agitator” technology to extend agitator life; product memory capable of storing filling parameters for over 60 SKUs with one button recall; and weight set-up software that quickly, easily, and automatically sets-up fill parameters.
