The new 55sst Thermal Express from Norwood is a versatile, high-speed thermal transfer printer that prints fixed and/or variable data on a range of flexible packaging materials including films and label substrates.

Patented ribbon handling system is said to maximize print quality while achieving high throughput in challenging environments. Operates at speeds to 1ꯠ mm/sec in continuous-motion mode and to 600 mm/sec in intermittent-motion mode.
