Matthews offers its Jet-a-Mark DOD 8400 ink-jet printer, capable of printing one to five lines of small or large characters at speeds to 780'/min.

Printer uses the company's drop-on-demand technology, which reduces the cost of consumables compared to high-resolution ink-jet printers, and is ruggedly constructed to mark reliably when exposed to vibration and dust, company says. Printer can print on both porous and nonporous substrates with dye or pigmented ink formulations.
