Sustainability
Besides the products from the exhibitor companies, Think Plastic Brazil’s sponsor, Braskem, was also present at the Think Plastic Brazil booth with Green Plastic and Green Eva products, resins produced from sugar cane. The green polyethylene I’m green™ differential is its contribution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere, since it captures carbon dioxide during its production process. It also presents the same characteristics as those of the traditional polyethylene, that is, it doesn’t require machinery adaptation and is recyclable. Since its production start, in 2010, the green polyethylene I’m green™ has attracted the attention of several companies worldwide, and is currently present in over 150 brands in Europe, United States, Asia, Africa and South America.
