Prior to his promotion, Banda was a Central Region Manager for Beckhoff in the U.S. In that role he oversaw a sales team covering the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, as well as North and South Dakota. Banda’s team drove sales increases at new and existing accounts and established a stronger presence in the region by opening a field office in Woodridge, IL (Chicago area).

Throughout his career, Banda has held high-level sales and management positions at a variety of automation and controls suppliers and was owner/CEO of an engineering firm he started, Controls Plus, Inc. Adding to his tenure selling advanced PC-based control systems at Beckhoff, Banda has over 25 years of industrial automation experience with companies such as Bosch Rexroth and Rockwell Automation. Banda is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame; he holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering.
