Pregis announces new positions, promotions

Pregis Corp., provider of protective packaging materials and systems, has announced several new positions and promotions which have been created to better address evolving protective packaging customer needs.

The company is expanding its Systems Solutions Team which focuses on on-demand, in-plant protective packaging equipment solutions, including inflatable air bags, hybrid cushioning, and paper dunnage machines. Scott Peterson has been promoted to director of sales and Ivan Brewington has been named business development manager for the Systems Solutions Team.

The company has also created new business development manager positions within its IntelliPack brand, foam-in-place organization.  Brian Allen and Jason Parsons have been promoted to this position for the West Coast and North Central regions, respectively.  The new positions will help continue the growth for the IntelliPack business unit.

Additionally, John Breber has been promoted to North Central regional sales manager.  He will be reporting to Sean Condon, executive vice president of sales.  Breber is one of five U.S. regional managers, each responsible for all sales activities within their geographic area.

“We are pleased to announce these new positions and promotions.  This is the latest in an ongoing series of efforts to make sure that we provide customers with the highest level of service and expertise in the protective packaging market,” said Condon.

The promotions are an example of Pregis’ commitment to providing training and development opportunities to its packaging professionals. The company also is actively involved with academic institutions offering packaging curriculums to help foster future packaging leadership and identify candidates to fill positions as they become available.
