Sigpack Systems Div., a Bosch Packaging Technology Co.: Internet-based support

SIG Pack (Raleigh, NC) has launched SIG Online, a service that permits SIG engineers to remotely troubleshoot packaging equipment via a factory network's Internet connection.

Registered customers will also be able to order spare parts, track existing orders and schedule service calls right from the machine's web-browser-based human-machine interface, or any standalone computer with a web browser and Internet connection. Special features for global key account users include faster spare parts ordering, facilitated communication between customer and SIG engineering teams on large projects, and the ability to track machine maintenance history and download machine control software.
