Kaleidoscope adds creative personnel

Kaleidoscope, a Chicago-based multi-national brand design realization company, has announced 3 important personnel developments.

Guy Gangi has joined the organization as Director, Brand Strategy, Planning and Design, and Vince Bowman is the new Director, 3D Structural/Product Design.  Liz Fisher, who has worked in the UK office, was promoted and relocated to Chicago to lead Creative Operations as Director of Retail Brands.

With over 25 years experience, Gangi will lead Kaleidoscope’s brand strategy and planning initiatives.  Prior to joining the company, he directed strategic brand development efforts across a wide range of industries as a Director at Anthem Worldwide and VP/Creative Director at Source/Inc.  His success as chief brand architect for Chicago area clients such as Kraft Foods, Motorola and Quaker Oats, ties in well with Kaleidoscope’s philosophy to collaborate and partner with its clients at each stage in the development process.

“Guy has an incredible record of delivering outstanding work for corporate brands, consumer packaged goods, healthcare and technology.  We’re excited to have him lead our brand strategy, creative and account planning,” said Gary Chiappetta, President and Managing Partner, about Gangi, who has earned industry recognition with more than 100 creative awards and been widely published.  “We rely on a collaborative culture to deliver breakthrough creative branding solutions.  I think Guy’s strengths will help propel us to the next level in integrated 2D and 3D brand packaging strategy and design.”

Bowman and Fisher also have years of CPG experience on their side.  Bowman holds numerous patents in many consumer product categories for his 25-plus years of work in retail product design, consumer electronics and packaging design.  Leading teams that designed packaging structures for many Fortune 500 companies including Black & Decker, Coca-Cola and Sears, he will head the Chicago team of industrial designers using the latest electronic sketching, CAD, CNC machining and prototyping techniques, which drive Kaleidoscope’s Innovation Lab.

Fisher managed a team of award-winning designers at Kaleidoscope’s UK office the last 12 years.  With her move to Chicago, she brings 20 years of private brand experience and successfully implemented creative packaging solutions and programs for clients such as Aldi, Booths, Burgess, Entenmann’s, Sam’s Club and Sainsbury’s.

“Vince and Liz bring another powerful dimension to our team,” Chiappetta said.  “We trigger insights by asking the right questions to help build creative strategy.  This helps foster the development of visual and structural language to align with the creative strategy.  Vince has shaped and created many memorable brands in his career, and Liz has an exceptional passion for design.”

Kaleidoscope is an integrated brand design realization firm that provides brand development and packaging solutions for consumer products goods companies and retailers.  Headquartered in Chicago with offices in New York and the UK, Kaleidoscope collaborates with clients to discover, evolve and capture the most effective go-to-market strategies through 2D and 3D brand experiences.
