With annual revenues of US$180M, 3A Pharma is a Vietnam-based distributor (with corporate headquarters in Singapore) of Abbott Laboratories nutritional and pharmaceutical products. 3A Pharma employs more than 2,000 and has 150 “direct agencies” serving as distribution partners. The company’s distribution network comprises a central distribution facility that supplies eight additional local distribution centers. Compiere Gold Partner, India-based Tenth Planet, will provide implementation and support services.
Having outgrown its legacy ERP system, 3A Pharma decided to replace it with an integrated, cost effective system. 3A Pharma’s business requirements included local legal and financial regulation support, quick configurability, and flexible reporting functionality, all built with low cost, modern, and adaptable open source technology.
